Richard Trillwood, E.B.E founder

Electron Beam Engineering was formed in 1991 by Richard Trillwood. Electron Beam Engineering provides precision electron beam welding and laser beam welding services throughout the United States and Europe. They specialize in working with complex components for a variety of applications, including aerospace, automotive, defense, communications, electronics, jewelry, medical, oil and gas exploration, semi-conductors, sensors, transportation and commercial uses. They are known for their outstanding quality and fast turnaround, and their technical staff is always available for consultation. They provide design assistance for all customers regarding their products including, but not limited to, the use of laser beam and electron beam welding.

Electron Beam Engineering’s (EBE) relationship began long ago. 29 years ago, to be exact. It all started when the owner of EBE became a board member of Vocational Visions back in 1991 when his daughter Frances enrolled in our Emeritus program. His dedication to our organization is one that we will never forget. The many volunteer hours he spent on the board, volunteering for many events, and monetary donations from not just his company, but also personal donations as well are something hard to forget. Before his passing in 2016, he brought his daughter, Hilary, onto Vocational Visions’ board in 2011 as part of the succession plan being a co-conservator of her sister who continues to be in our program. Both Hilary and her husband, Tom, are part owners of EBE, and they both have shown their commitment to Vocational Visions time and time again where they have volunteered at multiple events for many years. Hilary has carried on her father’s legacy by getting involved with our organization just as much as he did.
